What We Do

Stage Armaments serves the southwest of England for the rental of imitation firearms for photographic, theatrical and film use.

Our service provides access to props otherwise unavailable to the general public.
Our firearm props fall into three main categories:


Visual props. These are non operational but look real in photos, on screen or on stage.


Operational props. These allow the user to operate mechanisms such as loading a magazine or cocking a slide but the props do not fire.


Fully operational props. These props operate as if firing and fall into two sub categories. The airsoft weapons cycle as though they are firing and are usually air or gas operated and as such they have little recoil so this may be simulated by the actor and any muzzle flash or smoke will need to be added post filming.


The fully operational props are plug fire or blank firing and will be suitable for stage and film use and will sometimes only require post filming sound effects to create a louder report.
